Loaded up the bicycle with some of my new work and pedaled up and over the hill to peddle at the Maker's Market at the Old American Can Factory yesterday morning.
A Curated Market in a beautiful turn of the century industrial space in Brooklyn near the Gowanus Canal.
I always enjoy exhibiting at this market-- unlike many other nyc markets, this one is exclusively for vendors who actually make all of their own products. You won't find a lot of the cheap mass produced crap that you often see sitting on a table for sale in nyc; these people are the real deal. Add to that great, great food, fine art, and interesting customers.... just a couple of blocks from park slope. Pure sweetness.
Look for MOS ATELIER at this market and coming soon to the Barking Lizards Gallery in hiptastic Williamsburg.
